When Chrissy approached me to help her with her logo, she was a little apprehensive about finding the right fit of style for her new DEI consultancy.
Something simple, professional yet welcoming, energetic but not too bold. Towards the end of our discovery, her confidence in the mark and its progress propelled the start of her business forward.

Setting the Mood
Discovery
In tandem with exploring colors, we were trying to find the right direction when it came to the identifying brand icon. The client wanted to invoke a sense of movement and forwardness that came with the name "Control Y" (to redo.)

I explored a variety of colors and styles to draw out preferences and feelings. Some of the brighter colors were a little too bold for the brief of the brand but in the end we struck a balance.
