A case management product to replace an existing platform with simplified workflows, an intuitive interface, and new self-service capabilities.

The Challenge

Designing the experience for an immigration case management platform required translating a highly complex legal and operational process into an intuitive experience for both internal case workers and applicants. I first had to develop a deep understanding of terminology, case lifecycles, government entity requirements, and the many dependencies that could impact case timelines. The new platform needed to balance the needs of internal teams tracking case health, deadlines and document validation, while also giving applicants clear visibility into their progress and required uploads.
